What is cold-pressed juice?

Cold press juicing refers to a method of extracting fresh fruit or vegetable juices by using a slow-turning auger that gently squeezes the fruits and veggies, releasing their natural enzymes while preserving nutrients. This process is different from traditional centrifugal juicers which use high speed blades to extract juice resulting in heat buildup destroying valuable vitamins and minerals.

What are the benefits of cold-pressed juices?

Cold pressed juicing offers numerous health benefits including:

  • High nutrient content due to minimal oxidation during processing preserving enzymes, antioxidants, and other vital vitamins such as Vitamin C.
  • Easy digestion since the fiber is removed making it easier for your body to absorb essential minerals and vitamins.

Can I add cold-pressed juice to my healthy eating plan?

Yes! Adding cold pressed juices can be beneficial for overall health especially if you are looking to increase your intake of fruits and vegetables while also providing essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants that help reduce inflammation throughout the body. However, it is recommended not to replace meal with cold pressed juice as they lack protein or fiber necessary for proper digestion making them a supplementary addition only.

Where do you get your produce?

Our goal is to source as much of our produce as we can from local farmers.

Why does the juice separate in the bottle?

Our juice separates because we don’t use any additives or preservatives in our blends. Shake well and enjoy!

What should I do with my empty bottles?

Return them and receive $1 back per bottle. We sterilize and refill them with new juice for our Hey Ginger! family.
